Example Abstract

Personal Statement

In addition to the scientific abstract, please write a short personal statement (max 250 words) explaining your current career stage, your plans for your future career and what you would hope to gain from attending this meeting. The personal statement will be highly weighted when scoring each application and organisers will not consider abstract-only applications.

Please also provide a CV (max two sides of A4) which must include any publications.

The meeting is for UK-based post-doctoral researchers.

Submission

The deadline for abstracts is Sunday 10th April. Save your abstract as a Word Document (please compress any images so that your file is less than 1MB) and submit via the submission website by this date. Please include your personal statement and CV in your submission. Notification of acceptance will be sent out within one month of the deadline.

Important: The conference is targeting post-doctoral researchers. However, we may be able to accept exceptional PhD students. PhD students are welcome to apply but please bear in mind that the organisers will prioritise applications from post-docs.
