Self-Repairing Cities Annual Event
The Robots for Self-Repairing Cities event will bring together researchers, industry and city makers to discuss the current challenges in maintaining city infrastructure systems and how state of the art robotic technologies can be used to address those challenges.
It is relevant for anyone who wishes to understand how robots can be used to improve infrastructure resilience now or in the near future, and the multiple benefits of this approach.
Confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Dr Kevin Paine, University of Bath, on self-healing materials
- Dan Hook, ASV Global, on unmanned marine systems
- Tony Rachwal, Director, UK Water Partnership, on water infrastructure
The event will also hear from researchers on the Self-Repairing Cities project on the most recent developments and there will be an opportunity to discuss priorities for research in this area.
The event is free to attend but places are limited so you must register. Registration is open until 10 June.
Indicative timings for the event are 9.30 – 16.30hrs (to be confirmed).
