Doctoral Colloquium

The BSN organizing committee is excited to announce the BSN 2014 Doctoral Colloquium, the first event to offer a more in-depth and comprehensive experience to PhD students at different stages in their PhD research.
The Doctoral Colloquium (DC) offers PhD students the valuable opportunity to engage in in-depth discussion on their work and gain exposure to a variety of perspectives that can help to strengthen and shape their work as they progress towards their degrees.

Target Participants

The Doctoral Colloquium welcomes candidates at different stages of their PhDs. Interested PhD students should apply in one of the following two categories:

Submissions for senior and junior PhD students should be 2-4 pages long. Applicants accepted at the Junior or Senior PhD level will be required and given the opportunity to give a presentation on their PhD research during the DC.
Senior and Junior PhD students will be offered free registration for BSN 2014 for both the Doctoral Colloquium and the main BSN 2014 conference.


Submission must be 2-4 pages, including references, figures and tables (at least 10pt font, 2-column format). The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates, as well as formatting instructions, can be found here.
